Veins of medulla oblongata

The several veins that drain the medulla oblongata; they are tributaries primarily of the anterior spinal and the petrosal veins. The veins of the medulla oblongata are the anteromedian medullary vein (vena medullaris anteromediana), anterolateral medullary vein (vena medullaris anteromedialis), transverse medullary veins (venae medullares transversae), dorsal medullary veins (venae medullares dorsales), and posteromedian medullary vein (vena medullaris posteromediana).
